Volunteering at Lake View
Do you have a love of history? Do you enjoy the horticulture of Lake View? Do you enjoy giving tours? How about helping with some clerical items?
Lake View is a great place to volunteer. You could lead one of our hundreds of bus or walking tours each year. The cemetery provides training and will pair you up with a seasoned docent to see how the tours are managed. The nice part of volunteering at Lake View is that we do not require a certain number of hours per month that you volunteer. We work with your schedule and what is on our tour schedule.
Volunteering in the office could include archiving old newspaper articles on many of the interesting people buried at Lake View or stuffing envelopes.
