Lake View Cemetery is private property, and all visitors are asked to respect the privacy of our families and their family members buried here. While still an active cemetery, we do encourage the general public to visit Cleveland’s “Outdoor Museum and Arboretum".
We schedule walks tied to the natural beauty of Lake View, which we hope you will attend. All tours start, unless otherwise noted, at the Garfield Monument. Space is limited. Reservations, along with $6.00 pre-paid fee, are required.
In addition to weekend walking tours, seventy-five minute, historical trolley tours of Lake View are also offered Sunday afternoons throughout the summer months. Passengers climb on board a Lolly the Trolley at the Garfield Monument, along with a volunteer docent who will speak about the history of the Cemetery, its horticulture, and the notable persons interred here. Reservations by a $7.00 pre-paid fee per person are a must.
